The medical services consist of all subspecialties, including Consultants experienced in cardiology, gastroenterology, respiratory, renal, infectious diseases, endocrinology, rheumatology and neurology. It also includes haematology, radiotherapy and elder health services and provides the regional centre for oncology.
Surgical services cover general, urology, ENT, orthopaedic and ophthalmology specialties.
Palmerston North Hospital also has large paediatric and O&G facilities and recently redeveloped emergency service supported by rescue helicopter retrieval service. A dedicated Coronary Care, ICU and neo natal services combine to ensure your opportunity to secure a range of clinical working environments.
