experience as a Medical Registrar at Auckland City Hospital has
been a very positive one.
Right from my initial enquiries, through to my arrival in New
Zealand and starting work, I was impressed by the professionalism

Despite having some personal health issues prior to my arrival
in New Zealand, Pauline was very supportive throughout. She kept

Adjusting to work here in NZ was relatively straightforward and
within a few weeks I felt quite at home. My work colleagues are
very supportive and my overall experience has been excellent. My
initial post was as a General Medical Registrar. I then
rotated to Medical Oncology for a six month post, as of December
2008.
RMO's are paid on a two weekly basis and the annual leave
allowance is 30 days per year. The RMO support team at each
hospital provides advice and assistance with pay, leave and
locums.
Good value domestic flights mean other parts of New Zealand are
within relatively easy reach. One of the highlights of our time
here has been a sailing course in the Bay of Islands. Two days
instruction on a 25ft yacht, followed by three days to yourselves,
sailing between gorgeous islands and spending nights at anchor in
tranquil bays.
I am very grateful to Pauline and the team at Geneva health for
their hard work in making sure my time working in New Zealand has
been such a rewarding one. I would have no hesitation in
recommending them and am sure your experience of working in New
Zealand will be just as positive as mine.

When we decided to go to New Zealand for medical work, we did
not know much about where, only the fact that we wanted ED and to
start in February. I found Geneva Health Locum online and was
attracted because they do both Australia and New Zealand.
Geneva was excellent within few days of sending a CV we were
