To be eligible for locum
work in New Zealand or medical jobs in Australia it is
essential that you hold General Registration either with the
Medical Council of New Zealand or one of the States or Territories
in Australia. As a UK graduate you will need to have worked
in NZ for 12 months to gain general registration or as another
international medical graduate you may need to have worked for 2
years before gaining general registration.
